IAD's numbering is famously slippery: the series opens with a novella buried in an anthology, Untouchable hides inside the Deep Kiss of Winter collection, and the Dacians books interleave with the main arc. Ignore the conflicting numbers on the covers — this is the sequence. Dacians entries are marked; they're part of the same story, not optional.
